Spicy strawberry nut loaf

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Fresh strawberries, sliced
3 cups All-purpose flour, sifted
2 cups Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
4 Eggs, beaten
1¼ cup Vegetable oil
1 cup Pecans, chopped

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, salt, soda and spices. In a separate smaller bowl, blend eggs and oil, then gradually stir into dry ingredients alternately with strawberries.

Stir in nuts. Pour batter into two greased, floured pans. Bake in preheated 350 oven 45-50 minutes.
