Sweet and sour sauce

Ingredients

¼ cup Cornstarch
cup ;water
1 cup White wine vinegar
½ cup Brown sugar or Sucanat
½ cup No-salt-added ketchup

Directions

In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with ½ cup water and stir until thickened. Set aside.

In medium saucepan, combine remaining one cup water, vinegar, brown sugar and ketchup and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium and gradually add cornstarch mixture a tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.

Set aside to cool and serve.
