Tennessee barbecue rib sauce

Ingredients

½ | cup | Ketchup |
⅓ | cup | Light molasses; Grandma's brand |
1 | tablespoon | Light brown sugar |
2 | tablespoons | Orange juice |
1 | teaspoon | Orange zest |
1 | medium | Onion; finely chopped |
1 | Clove garlic; minced | |
1 | teaspoon | Prepared mustard; French's |
1 | teaspoon | Worcestershire sauce |
⅛ | teaspoon | Red pepper flakes |
¼ | cup | Jack Daniel Bourbon |
Directions
Combine all the following ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a slow boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Use to baste ribs during cooking.
NOTES : I got this recipe from a book called Taste of the States. This is enough for about 4-5 pounds of pork ribs.
