Wine sauce {fredericksburg}

| 1 | cup | Sugar |
| ½ | cup | Butter |
| 1 | Well-beaten egg | |
| ¾ | cup | Wine |
| 1 | pinch | Nutmeg |
| ½ | teaspoon | Lemon extract |
Directions
