Caper-saffron mayonaise - bon appetit

1 T Water

½ t Packed saferon threads

¾ c Mayonnaise

¼ c Drained capers plus

1 t Caper liquid

2 T Mixed chopped fresh herbs

: (such as thyme, oregano : And parsley) or 2 t dried 2 t Fresh lemon juice

1½ t Minced garlic

Bring water and saffron to simmer in small saucepan. Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes. Place mayonnaise in small bowl; whisk in saffron mixture. Add remaining ingredients; stir until blended.
