Cheesy spinach squares

Ingredients

⅓ | cup | Flour |
1 | teaspoon | Baking powder |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | cup | Milk |
1 | tablespoon | Butter; melted |
2 | cups | Cheddar cheese; shredded |
10 | ounces | Frozen chopped spinach; thawed & drained |
¼ | cup | Sweet red pepper; chopped |
1 | Green onion; finely chopped |
Directions
1. In a large bowl stir together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
2. In a separatebowl whisk eggs, milk and butter together.
3. Stir in cheese, spinach, red pepper and onion just until combined.
4. Pour into greased 11 X 7 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until set.
5. Let cool for 10 minutes, slice into squares and serve.
Yields: 30 squares
