Chicken with lemon sauce ^

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Butter
2 Broiler chickens, halved
1 clove Garlic, crushed
teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Salad oil
½ cup Lemon juice
2 tablespoons Minced onion
½ teaspoon Pepper
½ teaspoon Thyme

Directions

Melt butter in heavy frying pan wit lid. Add chicken and brown well on all sides. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken.

Cover tightly. Cook over low heat about 40 minutes, or until chicken is tender. Transfer to serving dish and serve.
