Cranberry and cinnamon relish

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Onions; halved and sliced
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
3 tablespoons Brown sugar
9 ounces Cranberries
2 tablespoons Redcurrant jelly
1 Cinnamon stick

Directions

Gently cook the onions in the oil and sugar for about 20 mins, until soft ad caramelised. Add rest of the ingredients with a quarter pint of water and seasoning. Simmer for about 10 mins until the cranberries are soft.

Taste and add more sugar if required. Serve warm.
