Herbed green beans and tomatoes

1 pounds Fresh green beans
1 tablespoon Snipped fresh oregano
¼ cup Olive oil
1 tablespoon Snipped fresh parsley
2 cups Sliced Roma tomatoes
Salt and pepper; to taste
2 Cloves garlic; minced
¼ cup Fresh Parmesan cheese
¼ cup Snipped fresh basil

Directions

Cook beans in boiling salted water until crisp tender, about 8 minutes.

Drain. In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add beans and toss to coat. Add the tomatoes, garlic and herbs. Saute one minute. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese. Can be served hot or chilled. Yield: 4 servings.
