Herbs~ lemon~ & shrimp sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Butter
6 larges Garlic cloves, chopped
2 teaspoons Dried basil
1 pounds Medium shrimp, shelled
2 Whole green onions, chopped
Lots of ground black pepper
¼ cup Grated parmesan cheese
Grated zest of 1 lg lemon
½ teaspoon Hot red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons Dried oregano
½ cup Finely chopped parsely
Salt
¼ cup Fresh lemon juice

Directions

Melt butter in a large, heavy skillet. Add lemon zest, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, and oregano, and cook 2 minutes. Add shrimp and saute until opaque, about 4 minutes. Add parsley, green onions, salt,and pepper, and cook 1 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and cook another minutes, then toss with hot pasta and parmesan cheese, and serve at once. Serve with or without extra grated cheese. Serves 4.

RECOMMENDED PASTA: ¾ pound spaghetti or linguine.
