Marinated onion mexican style

Ingredients

1 | large | Onion |
¼ | cup | Fresh lemon juice |
Salt; to taste | ||
¼ | cup | White vinegar |
½ | teaspoon | Basil or oregano leaves |
Directions
Slice onion into rounds. Cover with water in a 1-quart glass bowl and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes. Drain and cover with the juice of one large lemon juice (about ¼-cup), salt, vinegar and basil or oregano.
Refrigerate until needed.
