Mayfest -- sauerkraut

1 pounds Sauerkraut
6 slices Bacon
2 tablespoons Flour
1 teaspoon Caraway seeds

Directions

In a saucepan, simmer the sauerkraut with the caraway seeds in a small amount of water until tender.

Cut the bacon into small pieces; fry it until it is transparent. Add the flour and stir. Add the bacon mixture to the sauerkraut mixture; simmer for 10 minutes and stir. If the sauerkraut does not thicken, grate 1 or 2 raw, peeled potatoes into the mixture and simmer another 5 minutes.
