Mediterranean halibut

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¼ cup Olive oil
¼ cup Italian salad dressing
2 eaches Cloves garlic; finely minced
1 teaspoon Minced fresh OR
¼ teaspoon Dried thyme
½ cup Lemon juice
½ cup Water
4 eaches Halibut steaks, about 1/2 inch thick
4 eaches Slices tomato
½ cup Crumbled feta cheese

Directions

In a 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish, combine olive oil, salad dressing, garlic, thyme, lemon juice and water. Add halibut. Turn once. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight, turning at least once. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour off marinade; reserve. Place tomato slices on halibut and dribble ½ cup marinade over top. Bake uncovered, for 20 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Baste once with extra marinade.

To serve, sprinkle feta cheesse over top.
