1 | teaspoon | Salt |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
½ | cup | Grated cheese |
4 | tablespoons | Butter |
Pepper | ||
2 | Egg yolks, beaten | |
2½ | cup | Milk |
Directions
Pare potatoes and cut in very thin slices. Cook 5 minutes; drain. Put about ¼ of the potatoes in a baking dish, and sprinkle on about ¼ of the salt, flour, cheese, butter and a little pepper. continue for 3 more layers. Mix the yolks with the milk and pour over all. Bake for an hour until potatoes are tender and crust is set. Bake at 350 degrees.
