Rum balls (cookies)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Vanilla wafers; crushed
1 cup Powdered sugar
2 eaches Tb Cocoa; unsweetened
1 cup Nuts; finely chopped
Pecan halves
Combine vanilla wafer crumbs, 1 cup powdered sugar,
½ cup White corn syrup
¼ cup Rum
1 cup Powdered sugar

Directions

and cocoa, mixing well. Add the nuts, syrup and rum, stirring until well blended. Shape into 1" balls and place on waxed paper. Let stand 1 hour, then roll in powdered sugar to coat and press a pecan half in each ball. Store in tightly covered container for three days.
