Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 cups Soybeans -- cooked
2 tablespoons Molasses
OR 2 drops maple flavoring
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt -- to taste
1 can Tomato soup
1 medium Onion -- whole
2 tablespoons Oil

Directions

Mix all ingredients except the onion. Place in bean pot or baking dish. Put the whole onion in the center. Bake in moderate oven, adding a little bean broth or tomato juice as needed to keep moist.

Bake 1 hour or longer.
