Southern browned carrot patties

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
cup Grated raw carrots
3 tablespoons Grated onions
3 cups Bread crumbs
¾ teaspoon Baking powder
2 Eggs; beaten
¼ cup Milk
½ teaspoon Salt
teaspoon Pepper
3 tablespoons Butter

Directions

Combine all ingredients, except butter. Mix well and form into patties similar to potato cakes, about 3" in diameter, there will be 12 such patties. Heat butter in a skillet, brown on both sides. Tootie Note: Good with syrup or honey poured over them. Also, use with ham and eggs for a different supper meal.
