Sugar 'n' spice nuts

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cans Mixed nuts -- lightly
Salted
1 each Egg white
1 tablespoon Orange juice
cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Orange peel -- grated
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ground ginger
½ teaspoon Ground allspice

Directions

Place nut in alarge bowl. In a small bowl, beat egg white and orange juice with a fork until foamy. Add sugar, orange peel, cinnamon, ginger and allspice; mix well. Pour over nuts and stir to coat.

Spread into an ungreased 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake at 275 deg.

stirring every 15 min. for 45 to 50 min. or until nuts are crisp and lightly browned. cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Yield: 4 cups.
