2 | Florida pink grapefruit | |
1 | small | Star fruit; sliced |
1 | Red apple; cored and sliced | |
1 | Kiwi fruit; peeled, halved and | |

2 | ounces | Strawberries; hulled and sliced |
2 | tablespoons | Kirsch |
2 | tablespoons | Freshly squeezed Florida pink grapefruit |
; juice | ||
1 | tablespoon | Sesame seeds |
Freshly ground white pepper | ||
1 | pinch | Freshly grated nutmeg |
Fresh sprig of mint to garnish |
Directions
1. Cut each grapefruit in half through the centre then using a small sharp knife carefully cut out the halved segments, leaving the membranes in the shell.
2. Place the grapefruit segments in a bowl and toss together with the star fruit, apple, kiwi fruit, strawberries, Kirsch and grapefruit juice.
3. Using a grapefruit spoon, scoop out any remaining membrane from the shells and discard. Spoon the fruit mixture back into the shells.
4. In a small bowl combine the sesame seeds, pepper and nutmeg and sprinkle over the fruit. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint and serve well chilled.
