Hot cheese balls

Ingredients

½ | pounds | Grated Parmesan |
½ | pounds | Cream cheese; softened |
2 | Eggs | |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | dash | Cayenne |
1 | cup | Fresh white bread; Crumbs |
Peanut or salad oil for; Frying |
Directions
1. In medium bowl, combine both cheeses, eggs, salt, and cayenne. Beat with wooden spoon until smooth. Form into 1-inch balls.
2. On waxed paper, roll each lightly in bread crumbs. Refrigerate.
3. In deep skillet or deep-fat fryer, slowly heat oil (about 2 inches) to 350F on deep frying thermometer. Fry cheese balls, turning once, 1 minute, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Serve hot Makes 30.
