Raisin sauce (for ham)

Ingredients

½ | cup | Wate |
⅓ | cup | Currant jelly |
½ | teaspoon | Orange peel; grated |
½ | cup | Orange juice |
2 | tablespoons | Sugar, brown; firmly packed |
1 | tablespoon | Cornstarch |
dash | Salt | |
dash | Allspice, ground |
Directions
Combine raisins, water, jelly, orange peel, and orange juice in saucepan; bring to a boil. Combine remaining ingredients; stir into orange mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and clear. Serve warm over ham.
