Red cabbage relish

Ingredients

3 | Whole red onions -- sliced | |
3 | Whole large bell peppers -- | |

1 | pint | Vinegar |
2 | cups | Sugar |
1 | tablespoon | Salt |
1 | tablespoon | Celery seed |
1 | tablespoon | Yellow mustard |
⅓ | tablespoon | Turmeric |
Directions
Combine red cabbage, onions and bell peppers in a large ceramic bowl. Bring vinegar to a boil, remove from heat, and stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover and chill overnight.
