Rock's rib finishing sauce
1 Servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
1 | cup | Clover honey |
1 | cup | Yellow mustard |
½ | cup | BBQ sauce |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
Directions
Put the honey in a stainless steel container and put it into the pit for about 1½ hours, stirring occasionally. The honey takes on a nice, smokey flavor. Then remove it from the pit and add an equal amount of yellow mustard to the honey, followed by a half a cup of BBQ sauce, and two tablespoons of butter. Heat and stir until butter melts and ingredients are mixed well.
Then with a good paint brush style basting brush, coat the ribs liberally as they come out of the pit. They're hot enough to melt the mixture forming a nice, sweet & tangy glaze.
