Saucy sweet-and-sour short ribs

Ingredients

1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
¼ cup Liquid honey
¼ cup Lemon juice
1 teaspoon Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Dried basil
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
1 teaspoon Salt
Dash Tobasco sauce
3 pounds Lean beef short ribs

Directions

Combine all ingredients except beef, mixing until well blended. Place ribs in deep bowl; add tomato sauce mixture. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight. Drain ribs, reserving sauce.

Barbecue ribs over medium coals, turning occasionally, for 30 minutes or until desired doneness, brushing with sauce during last 10 minutes of cooking. Makes 5 to 6 servings. Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin.msn@... Source: Canadian Living.
