Smoked turkey salad ^

¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
1 | teaspoon | Dried mustard |
1½ | teaspoon | Sugar |
1 | Egg | |
¾ | cup | Salad oil |
1 | teaspoon | Lemon juice |
1 | teaspoon | Wine vinegar |
2 | tablespoons | Boiling water |
½ | pounds | Egg noodles |
4 | tablespoons | Light cream |
1 | pounds | Thinly sliced smoked turkey |
½ | cup | Cooked corn and pimento |
3 | Lettuce hearts | |
4 | Tomatoes, quartered |
Directions
Place salt, pepper, mustard and sugar in blender or food processor.
Add egg. Mix thoroughly at low speed. Add a few drops of oil and mix well. Add remaining oil in steady stream until it has been absorbed and mayonnaise is very thick. Add lemon juice, vinegar and boiling water.
Boil noodles according to package directions; drain and cool. Add cream to mayonnaise mixture. Toss cooled noodles with two thirds of mayonnaise and season to taste. Place turkey slices on top of noodles in a neat row. Mix corn and pimento with small amount of remaining mayonnaise. Garnish turkey with lettuce hearts, tomatoes, and corn and pimento.
