Steakabobs

Ingredients

½ | cup | Soy sauce |
½ | cup | Cooking oil |
½ | cup | Peach or pineapple juice |
1 | teaspoon | Ginger |
⅛ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
1½ | pounds | Round steak; cut in 1/4-inch strips |
Canned peach slices | ||
Pineapple chunks | ||
Cherries | ||
Cooked rice |
Directions
Combine soy sauce, oil, juice, ginger and garlic powder and pour over steak strips, coating both sides. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
Thread steak strips on skewers, accordian style, with peaches, pineapple and cherries between strips. Brush with marinade and broil 3 to 4 inches from heat for 3 minutes. Turn, brush with marinade, and broil 3 or 4 minutes longer. Serve on a bed of rice. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
