Sunbeam salmon patties

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Can salmon; flaked (2 cups)
1 Egg; slightly beaten
2 tablespoons Finely grated onion
2 tablespoons Flour
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
¼ teaspoon Salt
teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoons Chopped parsley
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup Fine bread crumbs OR
1 cup Cold mashed potatoes
3 tablespoons Butter or margarine
Additional fine bread crumbs

Directions

Combine ingredients (do not drain salmon) except additional bread crumbs and butter, mixing with a fork until blended. Shape into 9 patties, using ¼ cup each. Flatten out slightly. Dip into additional crumbs.

Preheat frypan to 320 degrees F. When light goes out, melt butter, add patties, brown, turning to brown both sides. Serve with chili sauce or catsup. Garnish with parsley. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
